..or any online dating website. Has anyone ever tried it? My friends want me to try being that I have horrible luck with men. I've never tried any of these websites but I'm kinda thinking eh why not. However, Im a little apprehensive since I feel like its a bit taboo. Not sure why...
Any thoughts?

Witness fear of demons why?
by donny induring my ten year sojourn through the watchtower, i was always amazed at the witnesses fear and fascination with demons.
occasionally at gatherings, they would exchange "demon" stories, which were just a jw way of telling ghost stories, and you would usually hear a few "uhhs" and "oh my's" as the story was told.
although i had heard folks of other denominations mention demons, it was never with the "shock and awe" the witnesses put into it.

When i was yonger i brought home a Casper the friendly ghost book from school and my mom found it and put it under the carpet outside our apartment because "it could bring in demonic things" since its the book is about a ghost
When i went to JW gatherings we would spent HOURS talking about creepy things that would happen as a result of "demons", in specific when someone would bring something innapropriate to their home or what they considered innapropriate

Hi Sandy!
A really good mexican restaurant is Rosa Mexicano on 58th and 1st ave and theres another on 18th street between Park and Broadway i believe. A bit pricey but pretty good and DELICIOUS pomegranate margaritas. Theres another called Dos Caminos on Park Ave, cant remember the cross streets. its similar to Rosa and their margarita specialty is prickly pear margarita and amazing guacamole.
On 16th st and 8th ave a place called Maryannes which is pretty good.
Theres another place called Mercadito which is really good. Cant remember where it is but it is in the village. Im sure you can google all of these, most have websites
Italian theres a place called Portobello, my fave Italian place in the city. Its in the west village on Thompson street.
Chinese on 60th and 3rd theres China Fun but its not a place to go out to dinner like for a night out. more of an early meal type of place but really good....
And aside from that there are a lot of good variety of places to eat. Its so many hard for me to remember all.
Lucy Latin Kitchen and Pipa are owned by the same people and are all in the 14th st.vicinity. Lucy Latin Kitchen is more carribean and south american food. Croquetas and empanadas are omg amazing! And delish mojitos. Pipa is more Spaniard and equally mouth watering. As you can tell i like alcohol lol so i suggest trying a drink in both
HAVE FUN. theres so much to do here and its summer thats so fantastic. not much beats NYC in the summer. but its hot so wear comfy flip flops and cool clothes. if you take the subway its HOT down there so just warning you. Go get some gelato down in the west village too. not sure of exact places but you can ask around. most are good.
if you need suggestions as to where to go out out let me know, although not sure if your sis would be down

So "g-jobs" are jobs done on the side. And those can include KH constructions? But who would be paying you?
Tonic thats cool you stayed in the neighborhood. Do you ever bump into anyone who knows you from bethel?

with a chicken? WTF? hahahaha. impossible!
interesting article. its amazing how they try to get over on everything! taking over the neighborhood since theyre are "tax-free loopholes"
NYC for the most part is losing its charm for the same reason. Corporate america buying properties and all the smaller business or the rawness is being lost to it. If i see another f-ing starbucks im gonna lose it!
Its still great here tho

yes! the bossert. my god i forgot the name. i spent SO many saturday nights in BK with a lot of nice guys i met. when i was a teen in the 90's the city was still a lil dangerous so even though BK heights was always a nice neighborhood you still had to be careful at night. especially around the train station. for some reason they loved to steal cars around there. but for the most part it was such a beautiful neighborhood. still is. i love walking the promenade in the summer -

NVR i need more information lol. Im just so curious. I knew a lot of bethelites growing up and as a teen and in my early 20's since i grew up in NYC. I even spent a weekend in Bethel. I think it was in that hotel they bought. It was cool actually, of course I didnt know what was truly going on. Plus I was young and naive so it didnt occur to me that foul ish was going down. Thats why ive been fascinated to know how life really was
Very true about lying....
